'It really stinks': Innisfil business accuses councillor of favouritism

An Innisfil business operator has filed an integrity complaint against a rookie councillor, claiming a neighbouring company was favoured in an ongoing parking dispute.

North Toronto Auction managing director Matt Rispin said he was blindsided by Coun. Kevin Eisses when a plan to ease a Thomas Street parking problem was suddenly altered by council June 26 without his participation.

“There was absolutely no need for this to be altered at the last minute by Councillor Eisses,” Rispin said. “It really stinks.”
